Before you step out freestyling. It’s all about being prepared! And knowing how you will go about marketing yourself at whatever venue you decide to use as you’re playing field.
THINK ABOUT WHO YOU ARE TARGETING, and ‘shop’ accordingly.
Where you place yourself matters.
You heard the saying, “Location, Location, Location.”
Now, think about the type of Sugar Baby you are and figuring out your strengths to establish your Sugar Baby Allure in which you’ll reel in Sugar Daddies (this is what I call creating a Sugar Daddy Experience).
Every Sugar Baby needs a Story. Do you have one?
It’s a story that answers:
1. Who are you?
2. Why are you here?
3. What do you want?
Once you have your Sugar Baby story in place. And understand the types of small talks you are going to encounter (your ice-breakers on making small talk). You’ll want to focus on your transitions of what you are trying to do, and guide your target in that direction.
Here are three examples of questions you can try out to help with creating small talk:
- I find your voice rather intriguing. Kind of reminds me of (whatever that something is) Did you grow up in the south? Tell me about how growing up in the south was like. (I lived mostly out of the country but when I was younger I would (connect the story to his)…Have you felt that way.
- You have nice arms. Did you play any sports in high school? (then I would make a connection about me and his sport for example basketball and teams)
- I admire your watch. It reminds me of a watch that I found at an antique store that I gave to my grandfather. (tell a story about my grandfather and relate it to time) followed by I value my time and you come across as you do too. I like to live in the moment. Do you? I’m not sure where this is going to go, but for the time that I have you. Let’s make it count. (I would follow this up with doing something spontaneous to guide my target to create an experience that is random and being in the moment)
I have always found the best type of freestyling comes from when I have a game plan in place. And knowing how to play your position when you are there.

Create a badge with your name and with a ‘made up’ conference. You’ll wear the badge so that it is visible and shows your name clearly.
This ice-breakers allows a person to start talking to you easily and it takes away the perception if you are escorting or if you are an escort.
You have created your conversation starter and your story of why you are alone. That story is, “I just attended a conference for (insert conference name on badge) at the (insert hotel name) and now I’m winding down my evening before I head back to my side of town.”
